Gender Spectacular!
A drop-in for kids and families

Updated Sept 2018
In addition to the parent support group that meets twice per month, there is a new drop-in starting for trans and gender-creative children in grade 8 or younger, and their families (siblings welcome)! This group is also for trans and non-binary parents who have children in grade 8 or younger.
What to expect: First 30 minutes as collective play/fun time and informal community check-in. Second hour and a half, play/fun time and optional facilitated activities. At the same time, parents are welcome to attend a facilitated parent support space located in an adjacent room. Structured time and games/activities facilitated by queer, trans and genderqueer adults to help children get to know each other.
The space is fully enclosed, and has both indoor and outdoor space to play. There are many fun toys and play structures for the youngest audiences, as well as couches, chill space, arts and crafts activities, and games for young youth.
There will also be snacks! Yum :)
When: 3rd Saturday of every month from 3:00-5:00pm
