The Pandora Chorus Concert – April 6th
Singing through transition & building community

Just over 3 years ago, I was entering into the most vocally awkward stage of my life (so far) as my body was adjusting to the hormonal shifts of transition. I’d connected with a few other trans-masculine folks about navigating through these vocal changes, and the most consistent advice was: Sing through it!
At the same time, Glenna Garramone was launching The Pandora Chorus – a non-auditioned indie/pop/rock choir for the people – so I decided to try it out.
Through this choir, I’ve not only gained more control and confidence with my voice, but I’ve also learned a ton about singing in harmony, gotten better at listening to those around me, and built some really incredible friendships as well.
Join us for our end of season concert! We’ll be singing songs by Paul Simon, Lorde, Nina Simone, The Weakerthans, and more! Here are the details:
When: Friday, April 6th – doors open 7:30pm, show starts 8:00pm
